Narender Singh is a veteran of more than 33 years in the Indian Telecommunication Industry currently working as a Sr EVP and CIO with Jio Platforms Ltd. He has experience of working both with large Communication Service Providers such as Jio, Tata Communication, Airtel as well as with Network Equipment and Software Service providers such as Ericsson, Alcatel and IBM. Credited with many first’s in the Indian Telecom Industry such as starting first Commercial ISP with Tata Communications in 1995, providing the first of a kind prepaid data charging solution for AirTel in 2005 to starting the online KYC and many other innovative Industry first solutions with Jio, he has deep expertise in executing large , complex transformation projects besides being a part of creating one of the largest startup like Jio. He has been instrumental in setting up the most modern scalable platform architecture driving Jio’s growth over last decade. Narender Singh holds a bachelor in degree in Electronics and Communications Engg from IIT BHU with a Gold Medal in Master’s Degree in Communication from Coventry University, UK.
